Born in Miami, FL in 1971, moved to Kentucky in 1989 to study photojournalism at Morehead State University. Upon graduating in 1995, took a job at WKYT-TV in Lexington. Moved on to UK in 1997 to work for the college of agriculture and distance learning. Scott left UK in 2011 to establish his own business.
